Our in house UK based support team along with our nominated service partners at Kings Fleet, means that we can swift response times. This is backed up with online and telephone support.

Outside the UK, we are growing a network of support and service teams as we grow.



All our machines come with a warranty and support through year one of operation. Still, for those looking for extra peace of mind, we offer our Diamond Care Plan, which provides an extended warranty and discounts on services and consumables.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs) on DCR Systems Training and Servicing

Is training included in buying DCR Machines?

Yes, when purchasing our DCR Pro alloy wheel lathe or a complete workshop solution, we include FREE training at our HQ for up to two staff members.

We offer one-on-one training at our HQ or your site and virtual training, should you need it at a convenient time. Our network of distributors around the world also offers the same.

This depends on your knowledge of alloy wheel refinishing; however, our one-day course allows you to operate our machines safely.

A typical day’s training schedule is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The AM session incorporates getting to know the machine/s and the PM session involves the practical use of the machine and assessment.

We recommend a maximum of two people at a time for our training to ensure plenty of one-on-one communication and to ensure our trainer can check individual needs and comprehensively assess them at the end of the session.

Yes, with the nature of our business environment, we appreciate there could be a need to train new staff. If you can send staff to Portsmouth HQ, this is the most cost-effective and time-effective way for extra training. We can tailor-match training for you. Speak with a DCR representative for more information on this.

We offer FREE training at our Portsmouth UK HQ for any purchase of a DCR Pro or a small charge; we can train your staff at your site. Please discuss your preference when purchasing equipment, and our team can let you know the costs, etc.

Yes, all trainees need to pass our assessment to ensure the safe use of our DCR Pro alloy wheel lathe. A technician who passes this is given a competent user’s certificate.

Please note that our training is easy, but we will fail a technician if they do not clearly demonstrate competency in using the alloy wheel lathes or other machines. 

All training in the UK is also in English. 

We provide comprehensive training for your staff and ongoing technical support and maintenance services to keep your lathe in top working condition.

What types of support are available for customers after purchasing equipment from DCR Systems?

Once you have purchased and been trained on our machines, a WhatsApp support group will be set up for you to use as and when support is needed. Here, you can ask questions about specific types of wheels, the cutting process, forgotten training tips, and general hints and tips. Several DCR Systems staff members from various skill bases will be in the WhatsApp group to ensure we can effectively respond.

Please note that our recommendations are based on general standard use for our machines. If you use the machines more often, these intervals can be changed.

  • DCR Pro – every 12 months
  • H2O Blaster – every six months
  • Spray & Cure Booth – every 12 months
  • PaintMatic – every 12 months

When booking your machine for service, our bookings team will ask if there is anything currently wrong with your machine.

We will ensure the machine is fully reviewed, cleaned, and checked for preventative maintenance issues. Any potential faults that could lead to operational problems will be highlighted at the time, and any repair costs will be communicated. Where possible, repairs are carried out at the time of service.

You can call, email our team or use your WhatsApp group set up to communicate. Our service team will then schedule you for a visit ASAP.

Yes, if you have a mobile unit, you can schedule a visit to DCR Systems for any repairs or servicing. Please note that we CANNOT accept walk-ins; all appointments need to be scheduled.

All of the DCR Systems solutions come with a 12-month guarantee, and we offer an extended service and warranty plan, called the Diamond plan, an extra cost that can be bought at the time of purchase or later.
